Motion: This house believes that Scotland should be an independent country.

L.I. To deliver a speech on a selected topic of debate.

Choose to be for or against the motion and write a speech for a class debate on independence. Practise presenting your speech as homework this week and we will hold a debate in class next week. Make sure you research your facts and are clear about your arguments. Even if you are not sure what you personally believe, you must choose and argue for one side of the debate.  This will be a Talking and Listening assessment.
